ART NAUTIQUE

As a child she grew up admire ring the Nautique painting by Cornelus Kuijpers (1864-1932) which was hanging on the wall of her parents house. During her childhood Diana was also fascinated by all the colors of paint in her fathers jar. She began to experiment with them. The holidays at the dutch seaside gave her the inspiration that she now uses in her work. The speed, colors, wind, water, sky and the abstract shapes of the sails are the ingredients for her dynamic Nautique paintings and sculptures.
